Global Equality Matters (GEM) is a consultancy that empowers and equips organisations and individuals to deliver transformative change and meaningful results for gender equality through technical advisory services and capacity building.
We work with a range of organisations, varying from international, governmental and non-governmental organisations to private companies and independent agencies to engender change.
Global Equality Matters is dedicated to developing and delivering targeted, customised services matching the specific context and needs of our clients. We believe that ticking-the-box exercises and one-size fits all approaches to gender mainstreaming are harmful and counterproductive. We deliver tangible and practical results for gender equality across a variety of sectors and thematic areas.

Hi,
I’m Sini Ramo (she/her), the Founder and CEO of Global Equality Matters. My purpose is to deliver meaningful transformation and practical results for gender equality globally. I help organisations and individuals develop solutions to their pressing gender equality issues through consulting and advisory services.
I bring over 12 years of experience in technical implementation and work on gender issues in global development and humanitarian settings with NGOs, private sector and international organisations such as the UN in Afghanistan, India, Georgia and elsewhere. I hold a Bachelors degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex and a Masters degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a focus on gender and feminist approaches. I use she/her pronouns.
